If there’s a country of people who know how to make life more interesting, it’s definitely the Spanish! Although I loved Barcelona so much, I ended up staying there for the entire two weeks, so some people might say that I didn’t even go to Spain, but rather Catalonia.
While two weeks may seem like a long time to spend in one city, I loved it because all my travels since moving to Germany in August have been weekend trips which go by way too quickly. With two weeks, of course I had plenty of time to get myself into crazy situations such as…
- dancing in a club with a bloody foot until the club closed at sunrise.
- running up and down La Rambla in the pouring rain in flip flops
- making random friends at the police station
- getting a high five from the Catalan police
- somehow successfully making it across 3 countries without any piece of id and just 10 euros in cash
So get ready for some crazy upcoming posts about Barcelona!
In the meantime, check out some of my favourite pics from the past two weeks!
Looks good, I cant wait for the stories!
Thanks! 🙂
That looks so fun. The pictures are beautiful too.
It was really fun! Time went by way too quickly!
Wow – sounds like an insane time. I’m intrigued! I absolutely LOVE Barcelona – I only spent four days there but I’d love to have an extended holiday there one day. Or maybe live there! Looking forward to hearing more about your time there!
Same!! You need at least a week. Or maybe a couple months 🙂 I would totally love to live there too! I’ll have to learn Spanish first though! Haha.
Oh my goodness! I can’t believe you were able to get through to different countries with just cash! That’s craziness. That would never happen to me. 🙁 Your time there sounds awesome…full of adventure and random events.
Thanks! Yea despite that incident, I had tons of fun! 😀
I also LOVE Barcelona..
It’s warm and very easy-going.
The city also has a very relax and fun atmosphere.
Would really love to go back there!
It’s true! It’s a big city but I don’t feel rushed like in NYC! 🙂
